I think it’s awesome that she’s 60 something and still enrolled to get her PhD to work in her own lab to save the one thing she has crafted and loved for over 30 years.

The trees are changing: They’re stressed, she says, and aren’t producing like they once were. By 2100, the entire $3 million maple syrup industry in the United States could be wiped out due to climate change.
